First named school has the right to play at home;
A
school may choose to host all matches in the group as a one-day festival
subject to the agreement of the other schools in the group.
(In a group of 3, the host school will play the first and last matches);
Schools will be awarded match points at follows: 4 pts for a win, 3 pts for a tie; 1 pts for a loss;
In addition, a team can gain 1 bonus pt for each SMASH (pair) win.
Any team exceeding a total of 270 runs will also get an addition bonus point.
If 2
or more teams have equal points at the end of the group phase, the
winner will be, in order,
a) the team with the greatest difference between aggregate runs scored and
aggregate runs conceded in all group matches;
b) the team losing the fewer wickets in all group matches.
| Finals Day: | |
|
Finals Day will be at St George's College on Monday, 24 June 2019. The four teams qualifying for Finals Day will play a round-robin tournament. Final positions on Finals Day will be decided according to the Group Phase priorities above. |
